Prepare yourself for the onslaught of stupid shenanigans as carnal, world-worshiping pastors turn their pulpits into Superbowl stadiums this year. Last year, Crossroads Church, which is pastored by Brian Tome and his wife, who is also a “pastor” — because, in the words of one reader, of course she is — blasphemed God by using the Bible as a literal football while kicking it and tossing it around on stage.
It was a sight to behold, for sure.
But this year, they’re not striving to disappoint. Tome, and his lady-pastor wife, will be once again performing a sports-worship ceremony on stage during the sacred time which should be dedicated to worshiping the Risen Savior. Instead, they’ll be beating each other over the heads with the Bible — literally, as seen in the promo video below — and showing us who their god really is.
