In an age where rebellion against God is becoming ever increasingly clear among God-haters, the natural desire to seek out death — that which is opposed to the life of God — is rampant. Whether it be mass shootings, suicide, or the murderous act of abortion, death is the end result of all of those apart from Christ.

So it comes as no surprise that those apart from Christ want to make access to abortion easier. The National Abortion Federation — a nationwide abortion advocacy organization — is handing out free gas cards to women who are seeking an abortion but have to travel long distances to get it.

“Since there are a limited number of providers and states continue to impose additional restrictions, many women have to travel long distances to reach the closest provider who can help them,” the organization said in a statement. “And this situation will only worsen as the political environment continues to become more hostile toward abortion rights.”

Unsurprisingly, a lesbian Episcopal priest is behind this initiative, calling abortion a “blessing.” Now, one may ask, “why would lesbians care about abortion?” Well, the reason is clear, those who hate God love death (Proverbs 8:36) and lesbians hate God (Romans 1). The reason she is a lesbian is that she desires so strongly to oppose God that she will do whatever she can to oppose God’s life-giving nature — be it through sexual gratification that doesn’t produce life, or abortion that terminates life. It’s also why you see so many homosexual men rallying for abortion — they hate God and they hate life.

For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

Philippians 3:18-19

Reverend Katherine Ragsdale is the current president of the organization who, in 2007, said, “Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Let me hear you say it: abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done. Abortion is a blessing and our work is not done.”

Only those who are lost would find death to be a blessing.

Woe to those who call evil good
    and good evil,
who put darkness for light
    and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
    and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 5:20

History has never suffered a shortage of theologians who chose comfort over confrontation, accommodation over courage. In the courts of corrupt kings and the halls of dead and decaying empires, there were always those willing to drape cowardice in the language of...
