Catholic Bishop in France Uses Koran in Prayers

It is no secret that the Roman Catholic Church has been in bed with Islam for a long time. Recently, the pope visited the United Arab Emirates where he affirmed that their common faith in “God” is what unified Catholics and Muslims and asserted that God is a pluralist who wants a diversity of religions.

Now, the Roman Catholic pope has appointed a pro-Islamic bishop over the city of Marseilles, France, who uses the Koran during lectio divina — or “divine reading.” Bishop Jean-Marc Aveline, 60, is known for his Catholic-Islamic dialogue.
