For quite some time, president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Danny Akin, has denied that he or any of his professors had been teaching or advancing any of the Marxist ideologies such as Critical Race Theory or Black Liberation Theology. Akin insists that when these topics, such as Cultural Marxism, Intersectionality, or social justice are discussed, it’s simply to “inform” as opposed to advance the ideology in a positive light.
It appears as though Akin is wrong, and one professor, Walter Strickland, Associate Vice President for Kingdom Diversity Initiatives and Assistant Professor of Systematic and Contextual Theology at Southeastern has been doing just this. It is absolutely undeniable. Watch.
