As Beth Moore Mocks God’s Commandments, Southern Baptists Cheer For Women Preachers

One of the signs of the judgment of God, besides being given over to homosexuality and sexual immorality, is that a people have been given over to the leadership of women. While some feminists, including egalitarians, will point to Deborah and Huldah as biblical examples of women in leadership roles, according to the prophet Isaiah, women were unfitting for this position and their presence was God’s judgment on these people.

My people—infants are their oppressors,
    and women rule over them.

Isaiah 3:12

This sentiment couldn’t be stronger than in the Church today, especially the Southern Baptist Convention. While the Apostle Paul made it abundantly clear that just like in the nation of Israel women were ill-equipped for leadership, women are not to hold leadership positions in the Church.

The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35

Having Apostolic authority given to him by Jesus himself, Paul doubles down on this commandment in his letter to Timothy,

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.

1 Timothy 2:12

Imagining what’s so difficult about the biblical commandment for women to remain silent during an assembly of God’s people, especially those including men, it’s unfathomable that some — who call themselves teachers of the Word of God — would practically give their middle finger to this commandment and mock those who disagree. Recently on Twitter, the Southern Baptist’s resident lady-preacher does just that as she mockingly announces on Twitter that she will be preaching in a Southern Baptist Church on Mother’s Day Sunday morning.

To make matters worse, Southern Baptists — tongue-speaking (read babbling), charismatic, Marxist egalitarians — like Dwight McKissic are lining up to praise Moore for her biblical infidelity. Russell Moore, the head of the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) has nothing but glowing accolades for Beth Moore every time one signs on to Twitter. And Kyle Howard, the resident race-baiter of the SBC takes his online affair with Moore to a level of inappropriateness that should honestly be checked by both of their spouses.

The Southern Baptist Convention has lost its way and the conservative resurgence is over. The ship is sinking and, barring a providential intervention by God Himself, it won’t be long before it joins the apostate ranks of the United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church USA. Handing your pulpit over to a woman, especially on a Sunday morning, is the ultimate mockery of God — and God will not be mocked!

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

Galatians 6:7
