Baylor, a private Christian university located in Waco, Texas, is known as the largest Baptist university in the world with approximately 17,200 students on its 1,000-acre campus and is affiliated with the Texas Baptist Convention, which is subsequently connected to the Southern Baptist Convention.
Baylor has been on a path to destruction for some time recently announcing that they are committed to helping gays “develop their sexuality.” Well, they are holding true to that commitment by hosting one of the most notorious gay activists in the “gay Christian” movement, Justin Lee.
To put this into perspective, there are essentially three levels of the “gay Christianity” movement. The first level would be the TGC/ERLC same-sex attraction movement which basically teaches that homosexual attraction is not sinful and in most cases, unchanging. This movement promotes celibacy and in some cases, even teaches that many can go on to live normal heterosexual marriages but will likely struggle with same-sex attraction for the rest of their lives. While this was initially TGC/ERLC’s view, in recent years, they’ve moved toward embracing the next level.
The next level would be the Revoice/Living Out level which teaches the same thing about same-sex attraction, that it isn’t sinful in and of itself, and also promotes some form of celibacy. However, this movement also encourages gays to embrace same-sex relationships that include living together with same-sex partners which include physical intimacy that only stops short of sex.

And that deepest level of the “gay Christian” movement is the Matthew Vines Reformation Project level that essentially takes all barriers off of homosexuality and encourages gay marriage and gay sexual relationships and inclusivity in the Church.
The latter movement is where Justin Lee falls. Lee is a part of Vines’ Reformation Project “gay Christian” movement and is heavily promoted on their website. Lee was the founder of the Gay Christian Network — an openly homosexual advocation group — but was ousted in 2017 since his views on homosexuality were even too extreme for this group.
