Admittedly, it’s unusual to report good news on the Southern Baptist President, JD Greear. Greear is steeped in the social justice movement, has largely embraced the pro-homosexual inclusion movement, and is favorable toward unbiblical notions such as female preachers in the Southern Baptist Convention. All in all, Greear has proven himself to be inept at leading a church, let alone an entire denomination.

That being said, yesterday, Greear delivered the opening prayer on the floor of the US House of Representatives that was filled with an exclusive gospel presentation that presented Jesus as the answer.

Needless to say, the prayer received no applause.
