Disgraced pastor with sex abuse allegations against him, Perry Stone, has announced that he will be building his own social media platform which will be immune to the oversight of big tech companies such as Facebook.

Earlier this year, Stone made headlines after audio leaked of Stone threatening to kill himself after his head of security referred to him as “predatory.” Stone admitted to his church that he acted inappropriately with (women), and with words and sometimes actions. The Chattanooga Free Press has obtained leaked audio where he stated,

“You know what? I’m going to go commit suicide up in the mountains and end this thing. Because I’m not going to-Look, listen to me. Before God, I’m going to go take pills in the mountain…because I can’t put up with this. I am a very sincere person but I have almost no friends, man. And I have almost no friends because of s**t like this.”

Stone now announced his plans for the Partner Strike Force website which will be “NOT on an open forum, such as Facebook,” he said, interestingly, on a Facebook post. “Our information will be hosted on our computers, using massive mainframes, controlled by our tech people, without needless interruption! It is easy to understand why tens of thousands of good people depart secular social media, drop secular newspapers, and select other means of receiving information,” he added.

“We will be building a new prophetic media platform in the months ahead” Stone continued, adding that it would be “wise” to go ahead and subscribe to his current big tech social media platforms such as YouTube. “I will tell you how to connect to this system when everything is in order. Right now, write down perrystone.org as this will be the future site linked with this new outreach platform.”

A few years ago, Brannon Howse of Worldview Weekend attempted to start a similar social media platform that he called My Worldview—essentially a clone of Facebook. His endeavor ultimately failed and was shut down.

Every December, a rotund figure clad in red velvet descends upon the collective conscience of Western civilization, not through chimneys as legend would have us believe, but through malls, movies, and mantelpieces. His name is Santa Claus—a jolly old saint, they call...

Check Out the New “Jesus Mecha Christ” “Transformer” Toy

A transforming Christ-meets-mecha toy? Yes, the “Jesus Mecha Christ” transforming toy actually exists. It's like someone sat down and said, “How can I mock both God and basic decency in one fell swoop?” This isn’t art or satire—it’s an abomination born from the unholy...

Christmas Hymn Review: Away in a Manger

Previously, I wrote an article calling for discernment while scrutinizing the lyrics of the popular Christmas song, Mary Did You Know? I knew it would be a provocative piece, as it was meant to be. However, my intent was not to dissuade you from enjoying these tunes,...

Christmas Song Review: Yes, Mary Did Know

The Christmas season has a way of draping everything in nostalgia. Familiar carols, the warm glow of lights, and the cozy rituals of family traditions tend to stir something deep within us. But more often than not, I hear a song that makes me stop and think—sometimes...

Don’t Lose Sight of the Gospel in the Incarnation of Christ

Christmas is upon us again—the season of twinkling lights, cheerful songs, endless shopping, and, yes, Santa with his elves performing acrobatics on our bookshelves. The world, predictably, is consumed with the “season” itself, offering little more than cheap...
