As more and more evidence comes to light that the novel coronavirus didn’t actually originate in a Chinese wet market naturally jumping from a bat to a human, but instead was modified in a lab in Wuhan through a process called gain of function and was partially funded by the U.S. under Dr. Fauci’s watch, Rand Paul grilled Fauci in a Senate hearing yesterday.

The back and forth appeared to make Fauci extremely uncomfortable as Paul continued to ask him if he still supports gain of function research.

Fauci repeatedly and ferociously denied that he or the NIH ever funded this research at the Wuhan lab despite the documented evidence that he has.
