In years past, Christianity dominated the religious landscape of Western civilizations. But in modern times, a new religious cult has taken over and now dominates every corner of Western society and mirrors the ancient pagan cult of the god Molech.

…all who hate me love death. –Proverbs 8:36

This new religious cult, which is defined by its postmodern worldview, is rooted in ancient anti-Judeo-Christian paganism. While its outward practice has changed, its substance remains the same. Its primary sacrament is the sacrifice of children on the altar of convenience. Today, it’s called “abortion.”

The cult of abortion, too, has its apostles–and among them is U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock. Reverend Raphael Warnock, the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, was voted into the U.S. Senate replacing Senator Kelly Loeffler. Warnock’s record reveals him to a radical racist using his clerical position to step, not up, but down into national politics.

But that’s not his only problem, this man clearly hates Jesus and preaches a false Jesus at every opportunity. Recently, Warnock delivered a guest “sermon” at Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas where he said that Jesus claimed to forgive sins because he understood victim psychology.

The book says that Jesus was moved by their faith and he said, not to them but to him, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” Now, if you think about, I know you’ve been in church and you’ve been reading this text, but come on, think about it. Put on your common-sense helmet rather than, you know, what people expect you to think in church. You know that statement doesn’t make any sense. That’s a rather strange statement. The brother didn’t come looking for forgiveness. He came looking for healing. Yet Jesus says, “Your sins are forgiven.” What’s that all about?

Well, the best critical commentaries point out that in the mindset of the ancients, if one had a serious illness, often it was assumed that sin was the cause. And so he says, “Your sins are forgiven.” That’s one way of thinking about it, but I would submit that Jesus is getting at something else here.

Long before Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, Jesus understood the psychology of a guilt-ridden personality.

Well, just listen to the rest for yourself.

Are We Really Ready to Take On Obergefell?
