Veggie Tales creator, Phil Vischer, and his pinhead panel of Christian philosophers recently got together to ponder the usefulness of even bothering to fight to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Vischer, a far-left radical infiltrator in the Church who has used animated cartoons to indoctrinate children into a social gospel and baptized progressive worldview, is well known for his ability to produce brilliant ideas and original thoughts. In fact, in his extensive insightfulness–that only Vischer and his brain trust could obtain–just last year, he pondered if Latinos are actually White because many of them vote Republican.
Astute, I know. But now, he brings that accomplished giftedness home for many of us–it’s what all of us Christians have been wondering: should Christians stop fighting to overturn Roe v. Wade?
The argument is simple, it goes something like this (paraphrased):

Roe v. Wade doesn’t actually legalize abortion, it just makes it illegal for states to make it illegal. Therefore, overturning Roe v. Wade would only make it legal for states to make abortion illegal. And since leftist states still wouldn’t bother making abortion illegal, someone who wants an abortion could just drive to a state that still allows it. Therefore, does it really matter?
If you didn’t catch the sarcasm in noting the “brilliance” of Vischer and his panel’s argument, let me just be clear, their argument is stupid and unbiblical. These people call themselves Christians–we certainly have good reason to question that–and they have branded themselves as advocates for “justice.” Yet, they essentially question the usefulness of overturning a ruling that makes it impossible to achieve justice for the unborn.
