When it comes to the infamously “woke” social justice warriors’ “war” against racism, White supremacy, and segregation, it appears they find the most useful weapon in their arsenal to be, well, segregation.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that those who advance the movement do so in the name of “Christianity,” attaching a movement to Christ and the gospel that actually deprives people of the truth. Social justice–the ideological framework from which the “woke church” movement is built–is not the gospel, is not gospel-centered, and certainly isn’t gospel-mandated.

It is, in fact, heresy.

Yet, the movement lives on and those proponents continue to push segregation. As Critical Race Theory gains ground in our institutions–particularly, in our churches and seminaries–the divide-and-conquer method of division the Marxist overlords in our society have devised is increasingly employed by our institutions at an alarming rate. From Campus Crusade hosting the High Priestess of Intersectionality to lead a stadium full of White students in a prayer of lament for their skin color to Tim Keller insisting that if one has white skin, they are, by default, guilty of injustice, it should be rather obvious that the logical end of this movement is segregation.

This is why Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) will be hosting a no-whites-allowed alumni reunion.

According to the event website, the reunion “grew out of a desire to reconnect with other African American Alumni in a relaxing environment, along with our families and friends for a weekend getaway from the challenges of Christian service and studies.”

Of course, one must then raise the question: do White alumni get in the way of a “relaxing environment”?

The website states that the group has hosted two prior Blacks-only events in 2019 and 2021, and is planning another in 2023. This partiality flies in the face of God himself, “For God shows no partiality” (Romans 2:11).
