After Spending a Year in Hell, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is No Closer to the End Than She Will Ever Be

by | Sep 23, 2021 | Opinion, Social-Issues, The Church | 0 comments

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the infamous pro-choice anti-Christian United States Supreme Court Justice passed away on September 18, 2020. While she was regarded by the left as a hero for women’s rights, an upright and upstanding citizen, and, in the eyes of some, a Jew who was passionate about “justice,” nothing could speak rebellion against God more than Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s actions.

Evangelical leftists, including a feminist Bible study teacher at the former Southern Baptist President, JD Greear’s Summit Church, praised the far-left Supreme Court justice stating that Ginsburg “made so many lives better.”

Ginsburg, a committed pro-abortion activist judge exemplified God’s description of “those who hate me love death” in Proverbs 8:36. Ginsburg hated God–Ginsburg loved death.

While many will certainly argue that we don’t have the authority to judge someone’s soul–and that it is solely up to God to do so–while that is true, the Scriptures are also clear in how we will know if they are “of us.” We will “know them by their fruits.” And we know that good, healthy trees do not bear bad fruit.

Ginsburg’s fruit was rotten to the core and on September 18, 2020, she heard the dreaded words from Jesus’ mouth, “I never knew you, depart from me you worker of iniquity.”

One year later, as Ruth Bader Ginsburg continues to face God’s eternal wrath poured out on her endlessly with no hope of resolution, the anger, hatred, frustration, sorrow, and guilt that she feels is overwhelming for her.

The Scriptures describe Hell as a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), where there will be weeping (Matthew 8:12), wailing (Matthew 13:42), and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50). There will be flames (Luke 16:24), burning (Isaiah 33:14), and no rest. The torment will last day and night for all of eternity.

Is Ruth Bader Ginsburg in Hell because she was pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and hated the things of God? In a sense, yes. Sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2). But in reality, the outward working of her sin is merely a reflection of the inward state of her wicked and rebellious heart. She loved sin because she hated God. And now, she’s been given over to her own sin for eternity and after she’s been in hell for billions upon billions of years, she’ll still never be one day closer to the end of it than the day she died and, in reality, it hasn’t even begun yet.

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. –Revelation 21:8
