SBC Pastor Claims Kamala Harris Has Character, Competence, and High Regard for Life

by | Nov 4, 2024 | News, Opinion

In Mexico, tales of the chupacabra have become much more than just rural folklore. They’re stories with enough credible sightings to make you wonder if these bloodsucking creatures really do stalk the countryside. But whether or not they’re real hardly matters. What matters is the role they play in every farmer’s nightmare—sneaking in to drain goats of their blood, leaving behind nothing but dry, lifeless husks.

Supporting Kamala Harris as a self-professed “conservative” “Christian” “pastor” is like a farmer herding his flock of goats with one of these beasts simply because he admires its cleverness. Of course, we all know that the beast isn’t there to protect the goats—it’s there for a midnight feast.

And let’s be honest, you know this deep down, but you talk yourself into it anyway, hoping that this predator might suddenly develop a taste for something less gruesome.

It’s a wild fantasy, and when your goats end up exsanguinated, you can’t exactly claim you were blindsided. Sure, you can dress up your decision with lofty talk about character and dignity, but come on—the chupacabra doesn’t do protection. It does exactly what it’s designed to do … pure, unfiltered carnage.

Yet, this is exactly the scene that SBC pastor Dwight McKissic is trying to paint for us in an article he penned at the liberal rag MSNBC, where he portrays his endorsement of Kamala Harris as some grand, virtuous decision.

In this article, McKissic assures us that Harris, despite her insatiable desire for the blood of the unborn, even up to the moment of birth and beyond, and her passionate defense of Sodom and Gomorrah, somehow demonstrates “character” and “high regard for everyone made in the image of God.” Really? Because the image of God, last I checked, doesn’t include dismembered, unborn children.

McKissic’s explanation is like claiming that the bloodthirsty beast is simply misunderstood, an otherwise noble creature just looking for a chance to prove itself as a responsible guardian. He’s standing there with a smile, telling us that the fanged villain now has our best interests at heart and that anyone worried about the well-being of those poor, unsuspecting goats is just being too cynical.

But why do we even play this game with him? We all know it’s a catastrophic misjudgment masquerading as moral high ground. Trump’s character? Yeah, it’s poor—at best. Do I care? Not really. Why? Because Trump isn’t planning on legislating his personal immorality into national policy.

On the other hand, Kamala Harris will. And her personal immorality—remember, this is the woman who slept her way into office—will become the highest law of the land and even speaking out against it will be treason. Just look at Great Britain. It’s now illegal to even silently pray within 500 feet of an abortion clinic.

You think Harris has good character? Moral high ground? Competence? Of course not. Nobody thinks that, not even Dwight McKissic. But that doesn’t matter to him. All that matters to him is that she isn’t white. It’s an exercise in mental gymnastics to claim otherwise, and he isn’t very good at it.

However, she is a dangerous beast, and if she’s elected into office, the goats will still all end up dead.
