When I first saw the trailer to this upcoming series, I thought it was a parody. I thought it was going to be some kind of satirical sitcom making fun of “ex-vangelicals” who have deconstructed into complete apostasy. The fact of the matter, though, is that this is real—and it’s not funny.

Phil Vischer is best known for creating the Christian-themed Veggie Tales cartoon series. He has recently become known among the Woke Church for advocating progressive Democrats, identity politics, and Critical Race Theory. He has questioned whether Latino people who vote Republican are actually just white people in disguise, and has argued that churches should embrace transgender people.

Vischer has also claimed that white people who put their kids in good schools are wicked and racist. Recently, he has begun to openly question the historic, biblical doctrine of sexual morality. He’s also compared people who oppose same-sex marriage to Confederate slave owners. Not kidding.

And Phil Vischer is also the face behind this upcoming series featuring several apostates, including Lecrae, Kristin DuMez, Jemar Tisby, and former Southern Baptist ethicist, Russell Moore. Here’s the trailer:

Now, keep in mind that these people featured in this video aren’t actual Bible-believing Christians. They are woke, social justice leftists who have co-opted the name of Christ to push a baptized leftist political agenda. Each and everyone of these featured ex-vangelical “celebrities” holds to extremely unbiblical views on ethics, morality, and justice.

Jemar Tisby is one of the leading agitators of the modern racial division in Evangelical churches in America. He regularly incites hatred and division between blacks and whites by indicting all white people with the inherent guilt of former white American slave owners simply by the virtue of the color of their skin and insisting that all white people are obligated to self-atone for their inherent sin through various and unending reparative acts. Jemar Tisby says that churches with American flags are just like the KKK. And his colleague at The Witness, the publication he oversees, has completely come out in support of abortion, advocating for the leftist mantra of “safe, legal, and rare.”

And of course, there is Kristin Du Mez, Calvin University professor who is both pro-abortion and pro-homosexual.

Lecrae, who has thrown his support behind one of the most pro-abortion political candidates in the country, Stacy Abrams, now comes out with a false argument against the pro-life movement, implying that it’s hypocritical to decry abortion while not decrying murder outside the womb.

I’m not a woman or policy expert but shouldn’t “pro-life” advocates be equally concerned with underserved & marginalized lives, abused lives & lives who are victims of injustice too?

Lecrae
@lecrae
I’ve paid for an abortion. I regret it. I won’t pretend I’m fully educated on the policy nuances or women’s experiences. I just don’t seem to hear the voices crying against the murder of children inside the womb, crying about those outside the womb

And for Russell Moore, whether it be his breaking bread with the gay community, his softening tone on homosexualityreferring to Jesus as an “illegal alien,” promotion and teaching of inherent “white guilt” by sole virtue of skin color, yoking with Democrat and socialist groups, serving as an editor for a Catholic magazinecoddling the transgender communitypartnering with animal rights groups and referring to animal rights as a “gospel issue,” fighting for the right to build an Islamic mosqueaccepting donations from billionaire leftists like George Soros to advance open-borders and amnesty, publishing articles claiming that the Bible affirms gender fluidity, or making the absolutely asinine claim that Western culture is demonic, one thing is for certain, Russell Moore‘s agenda wasn’t just social justice, but overtly progressive and unbiblical.

Do we really need an explanation from these folks as to why they’re “still Christians”? The reality is that they aren’t. The Bible says we will know them by their fruits—and their fruits are rotten. So don’t be duped, they aren’t Christians, they are frauds who “bear the name of brother” but is guilty of all sorts of immorality, and Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 5:11 to not even eat with them.
