Techno music, which was created for the purpose of and is associated with rave parties and heavy drug use, has now been incorporated into these circus-like megachurches.
People don’t want to go to church anymore to be fed the word of God, they would prefer to be entertained with goofy gimmicks and comedy. For these people, sound preaching is boring and must be supplemented with silliness, or else they won’t come.
