Unreal! Waukesha Murderer, Darrell Brooks, Gives Surprisingly Solid Gospel Presentation to Court During Sentencing

Believe me, I am not in any way, shape, or form going to attempt to defend Darrell Brooks or what he did when he killed six people after driving his SUV through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, WI last year. And I am fully aware that even Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) deceiving people, even the elect if that were possible (Matthew 24:24). In reality, Satan knows more Scripture and more about God than anyone alive on this Earth today.

That being said, I can’t help but be astonished at just how biblically sound and accurate his presentation of the gospel was. While not necessarily Reformed, it was certainly in line with what anyone who was raised in mainstream Evangelicalism and who put a decent amount of effort into Bible study would say.

The accuracy to which he quoted Scripture was rather astonishing and how he described Jesus’s death, burian, resurrection, and ascension and how he now sits at the right hand of the Father surprised me. If I did not know who he was and what he did, and I heard someone on the streets say these things, I couldn’t help but be moved by it.

To be clear, I do not think he actually believes these things he said. I could be wrong, perhaps he does and perhaps he suffers from such a severe mental illness that he should just be removed from society. But that’s a scarce chance. The Bible says that murderers have no place in the Kingdom of God (Revelation 21:8, etc.). Nonetheless, hearing this is nothing short of amazing. Just watch:
