Earlier this week Maverick City Music star Dante Bowe released a public statement apologizing for his behavior after he was released by the group for “behavior that is inconsistent with our core values and beliefs.”

In the statement, Bowe said:

“I sincerely apologize for the impact of my behavior and that it has offended many people on the platform we share together. This experience has been a very real reminder of the importance of being incredibly intentional with how I utilize and engage with the tools social platforms provide.”

Maverick City Music is a contemporary Christian music collective that features contemporary artists from multiple genres and has worked extensively with well-known Christian rap artists including Lecrae, Kirk Franklin, and Dante Bowe.

It should come as no surprise that Bowe made headlines after appearing with a scantily clad woman at the Grammys and stating that he would be “looking forward” to an openly gay rapper performing that evening. Maverick City Music and the vast majority of Contemporary Christian Music exist as an industry to make money and launch a career in the secular music field.

Bowe also posted a video of himself dancing on a party bus while listening to rapper Bad Bunny with sexually explicit lyrics.

However, it appears that this wasn’t the only reason he was let go. Protestia has obtained images that The Dissenter has also seen and verified that prove that dancing to explicit rap music wasn’t his only “behavior” that was offensive. Bowe posted, supposedly accidentally, nude photos of himself on social media. While we will not post the original photos which were quickly removed from his social media account right after posting them, we can say that these cropped photos below are enough to make the point.

Protestia says “We reached out to Bowe’s and Maverick City Music’s publicists but did not receive a response. We are purposefully choosing to only release censored and cropped images from the video and not the more scandalous versions. These will suffice, as Bowe and his team have more than enough information to recognize where this video comes from and to validate its authenticity.”

These people are not Christians, they are worldly entertainers that pray on Christians and they have figured out exactly how to do so. But when their guard is down, they always get exposed. Lecrae, who also runs in circles with Maverick City types also made headlines after taking selfies with openly-gay rapper, Lil Nas X.
