Shawn Bolz is the founder and former senior pastor of Expression58 Church and is now the CEO of Bolz Ministries. Bolz is closely tied to Bethel Church in Redding California, a hyper-charismatic, New Apostolic Reformation church which is known for its music and its working of false signs and wonders. According to Bolz’ bio found on Bethel’s website, he “has been a pioneer in ministry, including the prophetic movement, since he was in his teens,” and “his focus is on intimacy with God, creativity through entertainment and social justice.”
Bolz is now a traveling speaker who visits different churches around the country to “prophesy” and give people “affirmation from God.” In the video below, you can see Bolz giving what appears to be cold psychic readings much like those of the fraud John Edward.
In one of Bolz’s recent podcasts, he says that God “dreams” over corporations like Disney and has “gatekeepers” who keep Disney and these corporations from opening the doors to LGBTQ stuff. One example he gave is that a supposed “gatekeeper” at Disney “closed the door” on Elsa becoming a lesbian in Frozen II. Of course, he didn’t explain why this “gatekeeper” couldn’t stop Disney from all of the other LGBTQ propaganda in its movies.
Now in a similarly bizarre “prophecy,” Bolz claims God told him that Will Smith would not only be making a comeback as an actor, but he would become a filmmaker who wins awards through the academy that he resigned from for making movies that awaken empathy and compassion in people.

This guy is just so weird and outlandish. Shawn Bolz is a false teacher, a fraud, and a wolf in sheep’s clothing. What he practices is completely foreign to anything resembling Christianity. He should be marked and avoided.
