Warning, Stupid Alert! During an episode of The View yesterday, Whoopi Goldberg claimed that God supports abortion because he “doesn’t make mistakes.”
If there were ever a dumber way to attempt to turn the sovereignty of God over on itself, I have not seen it. But Whoopi has found a way to make the dumbest argument literally ever for God “supporting abortion.”
“And as you know, God doesn’t make mistakes,” Goldberg said. “God made us smart enough to know when it wasn’t going to work for us. That’s the beauty of giving us freedom of choice.”
Sounding no different than the serpent in the Garden of Eden questioning God, Goldberg continued, “My relationship…with God is always choppy because I have a lot of questions.”
“But I also know that God made me smart enough to know that if there are alternatives out there that can work for me, I can investigate them. But I also know that God said, ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you.'”
