Low on cash and need some extra money to start your restaurant? Apparently, all you need to do is be gay. Or, perhaps in this climate destitute of rationality, all one needs to do is identify as gay. It’s unclear whether or not a lesbian trapped in a man’s body would qualify for the grant program now being touted by GrubHub through its partner, the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

At any rate, GrubHub is now accepting applications for grants for LGBTQ restaurant owners with grants ranging from five thousand to one hundred thousand dollars.

The requirements, according to the program’s website, are as follows:

  1. Be an LGBTQ+-owned or LGBTQ+ ally-owned restaurant, bar or café that serves food.
  2. Demonstrate loss of business due to COVID-19. This information will not be shared beyond the judging panel and will only be used for eligibility purposes.
  3. Provide proof that you are an LGBTQ+-owned or allied establishment.

While the requirements for “loss of business due to COVID-10” seem straightforward, it’s difficult to ascertain how one can “prove” to a “judging panel” that one is LGBTQ–I’d hate to see that demonstrated. Nonetheless, GrubHub is actually rewarding people for practicing sexual immorality. It’s really that simple.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. –Romans 1:24-25
