In a stunning display of theological ignorance, Beth Moore makes a strange comparison of man to search engines. Comparing Adam to the creation of the "very first search engine," Moore asserts that people are "born with a drive to seek out the things that are of God."
What Beth Moore fails to acknowledge, though, is that we are not born with a drive to seek out the things of God. In fact, it's exactly the opposite. We are born in a state of rebellion against God, with a sin nature. Romans 3:11 says "no one understands; no one seeks for God."
We are not born with a drive to seek God. It is an act of the Holy Spirit that causes us to know God--it is because God sought us.
"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” --Luke 19:10
