Ryan LeStrange, a false prophet and the “East Coast Apostle” associated with the blasphemous New Apostolic Reformation movement recently posted a Pharisaical prayer on social media that he’s thankful that he’s not like other people.

May be an image of text that says 'Ryan LeStrange 4d One of my daily prayers for years has been: Thank you Lord that| walk under the ordination of heaven." Holy Spirit highlighted to me the importance of partnering with heaven's plans and making it a prayer priority. have learned to pray scriptures, decrees and also Spirit Led prayers that lead to victory. Hope this helps and encourages you. What is a prayer point that God has given you prophetically? would love for us to share with each other as a community.'

The cult watchdog page on Facebook, Bethel Church and Christianity, did a great job of translating this prayer:

“Thank you Lord that I am not like these lesser folks who don’t walk under the ordination of heaven. I thank you that heaven needs me as a partner as it is powerless on earth without me. I thank you that I walk in super Holy Spirit revelations and that I have made prayer a priority! I thank you that I have learned to pray more scripture, and decree better than anyone I know. I thank you that my prayers are spirit led and that I know the secret words and phrases that lead to victory! I am amazing and I know that I am a blessing to all who read my posting on Facebook! Thank you for me!”

As you can see, what LeStrange is doing is exactly what Jesus condemned the Pharisees of doing–lifting themselves up in prayer and subjecting themselves to the condemnation of the law praying “God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get. (Luke 18:11-12)”

Jesus squelched that by saying “For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

These false prophets and apostles are so caught up in themselves that they actually believe that they are anointed by God and have some kind of ability to perform miracles that others do not. They are, in fact, deceivers who serve no other purpose but to destroy the witness of the true gospel by perverting it into something foreign to the Scriptures. Avoid these people.

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. — 2 Peter 2:11
