Woke Pastor Prays “I confess that as a White church, we have lost our ability to collectively tell the truth”

When one is consumed by the desire to please the culture, that desire manifests its ugly head in a multitude of ways. The current cultural zeitgeist is the woke movement. And for one to be “woke,” one must fully acknowledge the “wickedness” of white culture and bearing white skin.

Sadly, this sick movement has invaded the Christian Church through channels like The Gospel Coalition and the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. But it doesn’t stop there. The movement is so far-reaching that even the most unknown of churches and denominations have embraced it and cloaked it in deceptive biblical language.

One such church is River City Church in Chicago, which is pastored by Daniel Hill. Hill recently led his church in a mind-blowing prayer of “repentance” for his — and their — “complicity” and “complacency” in “white supremacy.”

“I confess that I carry a broken theoloogy of repentance, one that can quickly repent of behaviors like lying, gossipping, or envying, yet gets stuck in the mud when trying to repent of complicity and complacency with white supremacy,” Hill prays. “I confess that I have spent too little time considering the ways my own sense of identity has been shaped by the ideology of white supremacy.”

“I confess that as a White church, we have lost our ability to collectively tell the truth”

The entire charade is a sight to behold, for sure. These clown-hat white pastors who are involved in this nonsense have lost their collective minds.
