Kenneth Copeland is a false prophet who claims he has the power to rebuke the weather in the name of God. In 2017, Copeland and his wife, Gloria infamously rebuked Hurricane Harvey which did absolutely nothing. Harvey continued its course, inflicting around $125 billion in damage in Houston and surrounding areas in its path.

In the midst of the coronavirus, Copeland has made a number of dubious claims, including that the coronavirus is “finished” as he commands it to “crawl on your belly.” That was pretty lame, but people still love him. He also told people that even if they lose their jobs, they have to keep sending him money.

“My Father, the Almighty God, the El Shaddai God, the God who is almighty. He’s more than enough. He is the miracle-working God. Today, we speak to this atmosphere, from the State of Washington to the State of Maine, from Southern California to Brownsville, Texas … and wherever else in the world it’s needed,” Copeland and his team began to declare.

“Wind, almighty strong south wind, heat, burn this thing in the name of Jesus. Satan you bow your knees, you fall on your face, COVID-19 … I blow the wind of God on you. You are destroyed forever and you will never be back. Thank you, Lord God. Let it happen. Cause it to happen. The wind of God, it doesn’t have to be a fast wind,” Copeland said.

“This thing is going to hit in New Orleans,” Copeland continued, “It hates heat. It hates humidity, it hates water. It just dies. It’s even better, I just heard the Lord say this ’cause I’ve witnessed it, it’s even better if there is no wind at all … just enough heat to keep from killing them people in New York City,” he chuckled.

All that nonsense can be watched — if you can stomach it — in the video at the end of this article.

As these false prophets and false teachers are put on display for the entire world to see, God is exposing them for the charlatans that they are. Only the blind and deceived can continue to follow these lawless men after seeing the lies they speak and blasphemy they proclaim daily. In fact, after Copeland’s demand for a heatwave to destroy the coronavirus, God instead sends a snowstorm.

Instead of this false prophet being exalted with his blasphemous words of follow, God Almighty is glorified in that His power and might are exalted above all things and God shows that He answers to no one — yet He alone is good and worthy.
