Progressives to Hold Political ‘Just Gospel’ Conference to Affirm Democrat Politics in the Church

It’s no secret that the Democratic party is trying to take over the Evangelical Church. Some of the most prominent liberal outlets in the Church, such as the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) and Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) are funded by subversive political movers like George Soros and James Riady. In one production from the American Association of Evangelicals called Rented Evangelicals, the author exposes how Soros has infiltrated the Evangelical base through his many funding ventures. And he’s been successful.

Today, through many evangelical movements, progressive Democrat politics are becoming widely accepted not only as a viable alternative to conservatism, but as the solution to many of the world’s problems. The gospel is being replaced by Marxist creeds and Critical Race Theory, homosexuals are being pushed into church leadership positions, and in opposition to biblical polity, women are being mainstreamed as preachers and leaders in the ranks of once conservative churches.

Perhaps the most subversive of these movements currently is the racial reconciliation movement. Despite years of warnings from conservative outlets against the misleading label, racial reconciliation is anything but reconciling. In fact, its endgame is division.

In May, many of the leaders of this movement will be holding a conference called Just Gospel where indoctrination into the Marxist ideologies of Critical Race Theory will take place. The website touts the conference as an effort to reconcile Christians along political lines.

It seems division and strife are increasing on every hand. Communities protest police mistreatment. Families are separated at our borders. The gap between political parties grows wider. Along these lines and more we need to be reconciled.

Notable speakers include race-baiting heretic, Thabiti Anyabwile — who insists that all white people are guilty of the sin of slavery by the very virtue of the color of their skin, and must atone for it through government-sponsored reparations — Jemar Tisby, who also teaches this heresy, Ekemini Uwan, who was recently walked out on at a women’s conference for preaching hatred against white people and says “whiteness is wickedness,” and Jarvis Williams, Southern Seminary’s leading proponent of “white guilt” and “white privilege.” Out of at least 33 currently listed speakers, 30 of them are black and 3 are white. Hardly representative of the larger Church family the conference says it seeks to reunite. Of the three white speakers, most notable is Southern Baptist president, JD Greear.

The theme of the conference, as stated before, is to seek to unite and reconcile believers across political divides. Though it says it seeks to reconcile believers across ethnic lines as well, let’s just be real for a moment — the divide in the visible church isn’t ethnic, it’s political, and more than that, it’s theological. In an article titled If You’re a Democrat, You’re Probably Not Saved, I explained how holding to Democrat philosophy and ideology is most likely representative of an unregenerate heart. This is far more than merely political. The Democrat party officially and unmistakeably opposes God at its core. The Democrat party in no way whatsoever can be reconciled with biblical Christianity.

Some may argue: well God isn’t a Republican either. Fair enough, and I would dissuade people from equating Republicanism with Christianity. But let’s be honest, the Republican party, as a whole, isn’t designed to oppose every single biblical value from a militant, anti-Christ platform.

The Democrat party, at it’s core supports the slaughter of innocent children (abortion), gay rights, gay propaganda, “gay Christianity,” theft (redistribution of wealth), lawlessness (i.e. open borders), a complete and total lack of individual responsibility (i.e. nanny state welfare system, single payer insurance, etc.), and the endless sweeping away of our right to worship God freely. And this is who these progressive leaders want us to reconcile with.

The Bible tells us clearly to purge these workers of evil from among our ranks (1 Corinthians 5:13). There can be no unity with Democrats — they must be excommunicated from the Church. They should not be allowed to take communion. They should not be allowed to teach, preach, or lead in any capacity. And in no way should Christians be deceived into believing that we can have any fellowship with people who think it’s okay to hold these positions in any form.

God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

1 Corinthians 3:15
