LGBT Activist, Rachel Held Evans, Says Jesus Never Addressed Homosexuality and Neither Do Orthodox Creeds

The LGBT activist who thinks she’s a Christian, Rachel Held Evans, says that homosexuality is not sinful because “Jesus never talked about it.” Apparently, it angers her when Christians refer to homosexuality as sin as the historic, orthodox Christian position.

Of course, this is absurd. To deny that Jesus addressed homosexuality — and the grave sinfulness of it — is bizarre coming from someone who claims to know Christianity. This is the typical argument from atheists. But, of course, Rachel Held Evans is in rebellion to God, so this kind of argumentation should be expected.

Even if it this were true, which it isn’t, the argument from silence is irrational and fallacious. You could make the same argument about paedophilia and other sexual perversions.

First, the historic creeds address the Triune God as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This means, that Jesus Christ, the man who walked this Earth, is also God in the flesh. He is the full embodiment of God. The radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature (Hebrews 1:3).

So what does this mean? It means that since all Scripture is breathed out by God (2 Tim 3:16), and that Jesus is God, that Jesus DID address homosexuality, and he calls it sin(Romans 1) — and further, He says those who practice it will NOT see the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
