Reformation Charlotte has been reporting on the South Carolina Word of Faith charlatan and former associate of Joel Osteen, John Gray, who, after cheating on his wife, gifted her a 200 thousand dollar Lamborghini.
In a recent video, you see him comparing the Holy Spirit to a bluetooth device, saying that He’s there to “connect” you to the Father and that you need to “stay close” so that you have good reception.
The thing about Bluetooth is that it works best the closer you are. I need you to understand that the Holy Ghost is Bluetooth connecting you to the heart of the Father. That’s why you got to stay connected to Him and stay close.
It sounds good except for one small problem–it’s completely false. Besides the blasphemy of comparing God to a man-made device, it is not the Holy Spirit that keeps us connected to the Father, but Jesus Christ.
