You’re probably aware by now that Alec Baldwin has allegedly shot and killed someone and injured another sending him to the hospital after “accidentally” firing a prop gun at his crew members during the filming of his latest movie, RUST.
In 2006, following a hunting accident where then-Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot someone during a hunting expedition injuring him, movie star and producer, Alec Baldwin, published an article at the Huffington Post calling Cheney a terrorist who needs to face trial.
In 2006, Baldwin wrote in the article titled Will They Go to Court?:
Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately. Who ever thought Harry Whittington would be the answer to America’s prayers. Finally, someone who might get that lying, thieving Cheney into a courtroom to answer some direct questions.

The question now is, why would Baldwin’s name be removed from this article? Does Baldwin plan to hold himself to the same standards that he attempted to hold Dick Cheney?
The taking of someone’s life should–whether accidentally or purposely–should always be taken seriously. But accidents happen. When they happen, they should be thoroughly investigated, found out if negligence was involved, and if so, those involved should be held accountable. But let’s be real, Baldwin is a loud-mouthed hothead who’s always believed himself to be more sophisticated than everyone else and he believes he is above the law.
In 2017, Baldwin rhetorically asked how it must feel to “wrongfully kill someone.”
Now, he knows.
While we grieve for the family of the crew member who was shot, let’s not forget that Baldwin deserves exactly what he’s asked for of others.
