Shaun Nepstad, the pastor of People Church based out of Chicago and has campuses all over the world, preached a sermon on Easter Sunday where he had bags of garbage hauled into the church and preached out of a dumpster on stage.

This foolish charade gives new meaning to Spurgeon’s famous quote, “a time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats!” That time is here and Shaun Nepstad is the embodiment of it like nothing before.
