Russell Moore-approved Pastor Accuses White Evangelicals of Mass Raping Black Women

by | Nov 1, 2024 | News, Opinion

In 2018, Charlie Dates, a prominent uber-woke pro-socialist (now ex-) Southern Baptist pastor, participated in the MLK50 Conference hosted by The Gospel Coalition and the SBC’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.

Here, Evangelical leaders like Russell Moore, David Platt, and John Piper, gathered with men like Charlie Dates to venerate Martin Luther King Jr.

Dates eventually left the SBC, claiming it wasn’t progressive enough for him after Mohler allegedly endorsed the Republican Party as the only politically moral choice. Dates also took over over as lead pastor at Salem Baptist Church in Chicago, where he invited pro-abortionist lesbian Mayor Lori Lightfoot to preach.

Dates’ self-appointed gatekeeping of “black authenticity” and his insistence on racial conformity reveal just how far removed from reality that he is, He has continued to undermine unity and truth in the Church. You can read about all of that at this link.

Meanwhile, he and his allies push their divisive narrative, ignoring the warnings about leftist chaos in the SBC, while promoting their warped, race-based theology.

In a recently surfaced clip of one of his sermons, Dates, who is still wholly endorsed by these same men—particularly those of the “After Party” curriculum which includes David French and Russell Moore—accuses white Evangelicals, their “daddies” and their “granddaddies” of mass raping black women.
