It’s becoming increasingly easy to separate the sheep from the goats as we watch the religious, cultural, and political climate become increasingly divisive. David French, a religious leftist who devotes his life to standing against conservative Christianity in the public sphere, stands at the epicenter of this great divide stamping and stammering his feet as he continues to detach himself from reality.

As a man who claims to be a Christian, his attempt to divorce politics from theology is a clamant disregard for actual biblical principles that are meant to guide believers and hold the final authority over our hearts, minds, and lives. Christians are called to stand up for righteousness and uphold the moral law that God has given us and our political ideologies and voting records are a direct reflection of our faith. To suggest otherwise only demonstrates the vacuity of one’s mental capacity.

David French is simply delusional, there really can be no other explanation for the outrageous things he comes up with.

In a recent appearance on MSNBC, the most anti-Christian far left “news” network in America, even worse than CNN, French laments that Christians are posting “Christ is King” on Twitter in a “very dangerous” way that suggests that Christianity is superior to other religions.

Wait, what? Didn’t Jesus Himself say that Christianity is superior to all other religions? Wasn’t it the King Himself who said that He was the way, the truth, and the life, and that there is no other name under heaven? I’m pretty sure that my Bible is all about the superiority of Christ over all.

French also complains that Donald Trump is “selling bibles.” Look, I’m no defender of Trump and personally, I think he’s an idiot. He’s a self-boasting pompous man who thinks way too highly of himself. But French’s hatred toward Trump is so life-altering that he’s willing to throw out Jesus Christ himself just to get rid of Trump. This suggests that David French is the delusional one. I’m sure there are exceptions, but nobody actually believes that Trump is the Messiah—except for maybe David French himself.

Is Donald Trump a blasphemer? Yes. But give me a break if he thinks Trump is more of a blasphemer than the people he is sitting with complaining about Trump. MSNBC? Should be named MSN Blasphemy Central. All the other false religions in the world? Judaism, Islam, whatever it is, if it rejects Christ as the only King, it’s blasphemy. And I don’t care if Trump is selling bibles. Trump is a marketer. Every bookstore in America, even those that sell bibles, is run by a blaspheming CEO. So who cares? God’s word is going forth despite Trump’s blasphemy.

In the end, this isn’t about Trump, it’s about David French and the left’s hatred of Christianity. David French believes Trump selling Bibles is dangerous and anti-Christian, but French never once complained about Joe Biden declaring Easter Sunday to be “Transgender Day of Visibility.” In fact, sexual immorality is a “blessing of liberty” according to David French—so why can’t selling KJV Bibles be the same?

As one who doesn’t care too much for Trump, yet doesn’t see him on the same level of danger as these leftists who are attacking our very biblical language, I urge you to claim the phrase and defend it before it becomes the next banned phrase in the public sphere: “Christ is King!”
