Sid Roth Guest While Preaching in Africa Says a Crow in a Tree “Shapeshifted” Into a Man and Fell to the Ground

The Bible tells us that in the last days, deception will not just be a part-time job for the adversary but more like a booming industry, with falsehoods so tailor-made they’d give bespoke tailoring a run for its money. In this era of unprecedented information and equally unparalleled misinformation, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 reads like a divine forecast that’s chillingly accurate. It warns us of the coming of the lawless one, powered by Satan himself, with all sorts of fake wonders, signs, and unrighteous deception aimed at those perishing—because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Now, in a world where truth often seems stranger than fiction, it’s no surprise that some might lose their grip on reality—but have you ever heard of delusions of grandeur?

Well, that’s what one of the guests on notorious heretic, Sid Roth’s show said recently. This guy, completely deluded—and sadly, with hundreds of social media followers just as deluded—claims that while he was preaching at a “healing festival” with 80 thousand people, the Holy Spirit spoke to him.

I got up to speak and when I got up, it was like the heavens opened. All these angels began to come down and the Holy Spirit said to me, take authority over witchcraft.

And as I got up, it was interesting because there was this tree that was on the side of the stage and there was this bird, a crow that was up there, and he was clawing away. And as I took authority over the witchcraft and I said the name of Jesus, listen, this crow morphed into a man, fell out of the tree, and the man was there.

The crow was naked and ran off into the woods. And what’s wild about that is that there are shape-shifting witch doctors in that region and most people were terrified of them, but because the Lord knocked that guy out of that shape-shifting appearance, over 50,000 Muslims gave their lives to Jesus that night.

Not only does this man think highly and very presumptuous of himself…”When I got up…the heavens opened,” and “I got up to speak,” and “I took authority.” Not only are these claims just absurdly stupid, there’s absolutely no mention of God or Christ.

And, do you mean to tell me that there were 80 thousand people at this event and not a single one of them got this bird shapeshifting into a man and falling to the ground on camera? Nobody got a picture of a naked man running around into the woods? The fact that so many people fall prey to this and actually believe it is a testament to the depravity of man and spiritual blindness apart from Christ.
