White men need not apply.

That’s the message presented by B&H Academic Books, a publisher affiliated with LifeWay Christian Resources and the Southern Baptist Convention. According to its website, B&H Academic is offering prestigious scholarships to doctoral students to attend the 2023 Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) meeting, including airfare, which is worth thousands of dollars.

According the B&H, the purpose of the scholarship is to “invest in the inclusion of all voices in the academy,” despite the fact that the bylaws of the Southern Baptist Convention prohibit discriminatory actions based on ethnicity. Article III of the SBC Constitution deems a church or institution to be in friendly cooperation so long as it “Does not act to affirm, approve, or endorse discriminatory behavior on the basis of ethnicity.”

However, discrimination against white men is acceptable in these circles. What the framers of the SBC constitutional amendment, which was adopted in 2021, mean by the word “discrimination” is really nothing more than pandering to the left’s narrative of “white supremacy.” Since the Southern Baptist Convention adopted a resolution affirming Critical Race Theory—as opposed to facts—as a “useful tool” for analyzing racial disparities, equity, as opposed to equality, has become the primary goal of these leftist-influenced institutions. In other words, scholarships cannot be awarded based on merit or need, rather they must be awarded on the basis of physical appearance so as to create the illusion of fairness and equal outcome.

Will you hear any of the usual voices in the SBC speak out against this obvious and blatant form of racism and sexism? Of course not. In fact, B&H turned off and hid the replies and comments to its tweets. But here are a few of them:

It does appear that a number of people are waking up to this reverse racism and sexism. But the establishment in control still hasn’t figured it out, and likely never will.

Bethel’s Glitter Bomb Finally Went Off — And It Reeks

It’s a strange kind of grief—not the grief of surprise, but the grief of confirmation. The kind where you’ve been standing on the train tracks for years, waving both arms, shouting that the light in the distance isn’t the sunrise, it’s a locomotive—and then one day...

Transvestite State Rep Calls on Activists to Storm More Churches

Last Sunday at Cities Church in St. Paul, a pack of Antifa activists barged into the sanctuary, interrupted worship, and chanted anti-ICE slogans while congregants sat confused or walked out. Their target was a pastor they accused of being a field ICE director. That’s...
