If one were to peruse the chronicles of biblical history, one might find unsettling parallels between the accounts of Sodom and Gomorrah and the state of modern America. Cities fraught with vice, idolatry, and abject disregard for God’s law, Sodom and Gomorrah were cautionary warnings of what ensues when a society unreservedly embraces immorality. God’s judgment was swift and unflinching—the cities were reduced to ashes as a divine declaration against sexual sin.
Today, the ominous echoes of Sodom and Gomorrah reverberate ominously in our nation. The recent tweet by the U.S. Department of Education, proudly supporting Pride Month and unequivocally pledging support for LGBTQI+ students, teachers, and staff, can only be seen as a distressing sign of a nation drifting further into sexual anarchy and God’s judgment.
In pledging such clear support for Sodomy Month, the Department of Education is, in essence, lifting its proverbial middle finger to Christians. This audacious display is an outright dismissal and mockery of the deeply held convictions of true Bible-believing Christians. This goes beyond mere endorsement of an event—it represents a calculated affront to the biblical values that countless American believers still hold dear.
The public endorsement by such a governmental body is not only fostering an environment of sexual licentiousness, reminiscent of the unchecked immorality of Sodom and Gomorrah, but it’s also alienating a substantial population within our schools. The Christian students, teachers, and staff who adhere to traditional biblical principles are now placed in an untenable position: forced to function in an environment that blatantly disrespects and undermines their faith.

Let’s just call it what it is—a complete and utter abdication of truth and rebellion against the Creator. This move not only marginalizes the Christian community in public schools, but it also exemplifies the degradation of our nation’s moral fabric, mirroring the state of Sodom and Gomorrah prior to its destruction.
Romans 1:26-27 reads, “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.” Hopefully, I don’t need to paint you a picture of what this “due penalty” is, but the Apostle Paul could not have been clearer in his warning. Yet, this divine warning goes unheeded in our public education system.
So, what are we, the followers of Christ, to do in the face of such brazen defiance of God’s law? Are we to remain silent, allowing our children to be inculcated with beliefs that stand in stark contrast to the Word of God? Absolutely not.
It’s time to make a stand—it’s time to consider whether our public schools have abandoned their mission to educate, instead opting to propagate an ideology that is diametrically opposed to our faith. We already know the answer to this question, and the direction of this godless system became clear decades ago.
Homeschooling should no longer be seen as an alternative but rather as a necessary course of action to protect our children from a system that seems to have lost its way. This is not an easy path—it will require sacrifice, commitment, and dedication. But the spiritual health of our children depends on it.
Pray for wisdom and courage as we navigate these challenging times. And most importantly, let us not lose faith. God is still on His throne, and He hears the prayers of His people. Stand firm, be unwavering in your convictions, and let’s redeem the education of our children apart from this system of sexual indoctrination.
Like Lot in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, we must rescue our families from a culture that’s strayed from God, and we must have the conviction to live out our faith in such a way that brings honor to our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
