The American government has reached a new low by caving to the demands of a handful of sex-crazed deviants. These so-called “drag queens” have long been known for their depraved desires and depraved moral compass, yet the government has decided to cater to their perverted whims. This decision only furthers the agenda of the radical left, who are determined to destroy the traditional values of this great nation.

It’s a sad day in America when the government panders to the fetishes of a few deviants at the expense of the majority. But is there really even a moral majority anymore?

As if the state of our nation couldn’t get any worse, President Joe Biden has invited a self-described “non-binary drag artist” to the White House for the signing of the so-called Respect for Marriage Act. This invitation, along with the legislation itself, is a clear indication of the moral bankruptcy and hostility towards Christianity that has taken hold in our government.

At its core, the “Respect for Marriage Act” is a blatant attempt to force Christians to accept the immoral lifestyle of homosexuals and other sexually immoral behaviors. By allowing same-sex couples to marry, the government is essentially saying that the Biblical definition of marriage is irrelevant.

But make no mistake, this isn’t just an attack on the institution of marriage – it’s an attack on Christianity itself. The Bible is clear in its condemnation of homosexuality, yet our government is willing to ignore the word of God in order to appease a small group of deviants.

Furthermore, the “Respect for Marriage Act” poses a serious threat to the religious freedom of Christians. Under this legislation, Christians could be forced to violate their deeply-held beliefs by providing services to same-sex couples.

But let’s be real, we shouldn’t be surprised. This is the same government that is openly hostile toward traditional values and the teachings of the Bible. From abortion on demand to the promotion of the LGBTQ+ agenda, our leaders have shown time and time again that they have no regard for God’s design for human sexuality and marriage.

It’s clear that Bible-believing Christians in America need to wake up and stop living in denial. We can no longer cling to the hope that our nation will one day return to its Christian roots. It’s easy to want to hate the people that have done this to us, but Jesus told us to love our enemies. Admittedly, that’s hard. However, we must be prepared for intense persecution and discrimination as we stand up for our beliefs in a society that is increasingly hostile to the gospel—the gospel that defines us, our lives, and our motivation. The gospel is the only reason we’re here.

But even in the face of persecution, we must remember that our ultimate hope is not in a government that respects our values, but in the saving work of Christ. As Christians, our identity is not rooted in our citizenship or our political beliefs, but in our relationship with Jesus. We must place our trust solely in Him and His promise to be with us always, even to the end of the age.

So let’s not be discouraged by the state of our nation. Let’s not give in to fear or despair. Instead, let us hold fast to the truth of the gospel and be prepared to stand firm for our faith, no matter what challenges we may face.
