Yes, I know. That title has a lot of scare quotes in it. But that’s the only way to convey the point of the article because I can’t, in good faith, defile the good use of these terms the way that Brandan Robertson has. Robertson, a self-described “gay pastor” who writes for Baptist News Global, a news outlet known for attacking biblical Christianity while calling itself “Baptist,” says he plans to be “married” both as a “gay Christian” and a “gay pastor.”
Brandan Robertson has been in the headlines quite a bit in the last year or so as he is an openly gay, self-described “pastor” who opposed traditional, biblical theology while installing himself as a biblical scholar and theologian. Robertson is an advocate for sexual immorality and teaches that premarital sex is “good” and “healthy.” Of course, conservative Bible-believing Christians would never consider Robertson’s claims to Christianity valid, but the world sees things like this and brings reproach upon Christ.
In this defending that act of pastors defiling the pulpit, the Church, and the institution of marriage by pretending to marry homosexual couples, Robertson tells us that there is no sin in homosexuality or “gay marriage” because it is a reflection of God’s love. Hence, his plans to someday be betrothed to another man himself. 🤮
