The drag queen phenomenon in this world has taken many by surprise. But if you’re familiar with the Scriptures, you know that a society that is being given over to sexual immorality is a sign of God’s judgment on that society—and the sin itself is part of the judgment.
And nothing could be a clearer sign of God’s judgment when these perverts in society take over the professing Church.
For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? —1 Peter 4:17
Of course, this does not mean that God is going to judge the true bride of Christ, but the vast majority of what calls itself the Church today is a prostitute, a spiritual whore—a whore-mongering spiritual slut, and the entire book of Hosea is an object lesson in how God views that. The silence of God’s true bride certainly doesn’t help the situation and God’s discipline will still be handed to her for her complacency in it.
God will do what He always does—bring crushing persecution and pain to purge the goats from the sheep, to burn off the dross from the silver. The whole of biblical Revelation tells us that God is concerned most of all with His name and His glory, not our happiness and contentment. And certainly not our comfort and complacency in bringing God’s truth to shine in the darkness of this world’s society. Who lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed? Apparently, many of his true bride is guilty of this, and God is not amused.
In the latest string of uncoverings of blatant sexual immorality in the pulpit is a drag queen dancing in a church on top of a pulpit with the name of Christ, the Christogram “IHS,” written on it. The drag queen’s name is “Miss Fiercalicious” but the church could not be identified.
