Guess Which Foul-mouthed God-hating Secular Rapper Topped Billboard’s Christian Charts. Hint, Not Lecrae

There has been a weird influx of what passes as “Christian” these days in the music and entertainment industry. The word, “Christian” is kind of like the word “racist.” When it’s used to describe everything, it becomes absolutely meaningless.

That’s what has happened in the “Christian music” industry. So much garbage being pumped out by non-Christians singing about non-Christian things is being passed off as “Christian” and earning the top spots on “Christian” music charts. We’ve reported about the “genderqueer” “Christian” artist, Grace (Semler) Baldridge, who has repeatedly topped the iTunes Christian charts for several years. We’ve also reported about other secularized Christian bands now featuring pro-choice atheists and drag queens in their music and calling it “Christian.”

But recently, a name that no one would have ever guessed made the Billboard’s number one spot on the Christian Charts—Eminem.

Yes, you read that right. The foul-mouthed rapper who regularly raps about violence, drugs, gang activity, murder, and degrades women in his “art” has now joined with other secular names like Dr. Dre to reach the number one Christian spot on Billboard.

The song that made the number one spot, a song by DJ Khaled featuring Kanye West and, yes, Eminem, is called Use This Gospel. Khaled, who has described himself as a “devout Muslim,” dropped the word “Jesus” in this song a time or two and that, of course, makes it Christian.

One person remarks:

And another comments, which I totally understand minus the swearing:

What passes as Christianity today is indeed a joke. Of course, true Christianity doesn’t allow room for garbage like this to occupy their minds. These clowns stand for everything God hates and their morality looks like the antithesis of the Ten Commandments, but entertainment has a grasp on this world, unlike any other institution. It’s really sad to see, Lord Jesus return soon.
