Transgender “Pastor” Rebukes Denny Burk for His “False Teachings” on Transgenderism

Denny Burk, a Southern Baptist pastor and professor—and a solid teacher on biblical sexual ethics—gave a lecture at Compass Bible Church in Aliso Viejo in 2019 on the dangerous teachings of LGBTQ and transgender ideology that are invading the Church and society.

Ellie Dote, a transgender self-proclaimed “pastor” who dresses like a woman recently put out a video rebuking Burk’s teachings and comparing him to the false teachers that Jesus rebuked.

Very little commentary needs to be given here as what he says is just so patently absurd that any actual student of the Bible knows just how dumb it is. However, what he essentially does is accuse Burk of taking biblical gender roles given at Creation out of context and accusing him of preaching a theology that was only in place before the fall.

Of course, that’s dumb, and saying that God only cared if men and women followed the natural creation order prior to the fall is silly. He goes on to accuse Burk of taking other passages such as 1 Corinthians 11:8, “For man was not made from woman, but woman from man,” out of context and ascribing a creation order to men and women that no longer exists.

Bethel’s Glitter Bomb Finally Went Off — And It Reeks

It’s a strange kind of grief—not the grief of surprise, but the grief of confirmation. The kind where you’ve been standing on the train tracks for years, waving both arms, shouting that the light in the distance isn’t the sunrise, it’s a locomotive—and then one day...

Are We Really Ready to Take On Obergefell?

I am seeing a lot of chatter recently about overturning Obergefell, and I get this strange, sinking feeling like we’re standing on a patch of mud yelling at the sky because the house is leaning. We point at the Supreme Court like that’s the engine of this whole thing....

Transvestite State Rep Calls on Activists to Storm More Churches

Last Sunday at Cities Church in St. Paul, a pack of Antifa activists barged into the sanctuary, interrupted worship, and chanted anti-ICE slogans while congregants sat confused or walked out. Their target was a pastor they accused of being a field ICE director. That’s...
