According to an email sent out to members this week, the iconic Crescent Hill Baptist Church in Louisville, KY has hired a homosexual youth pastor to serve on staff as “co-pastor.”

Jordan Conley, who is listed on Crescent Hill’s website as “interim minister to students and young adults,” was unanimously voted by the Church Council and personnel team at CHBC to be recommended to the congregation for the position of co-pastor and the vote took place on Sunday, August 14.

According to the CHBC website, the interim student minister “lives in the Highlands with his husband, Patrick Allison and their dog, Kenzie” and will be sharing his “co-pastoring” duties with Andrea Woolley, the lady pastor of “Spiritual Formation, Families, And Community.”

Crescent Hill, located only two blocks away from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, was founded in 1908 with John F. Griffith as its founding pastor. According to the history report, the church developed close ties to the Southern Baptist seminary in 1926 under pastor Dr. Charles L. Graham.
