The judgment of God on people manifests in ways mysterious to us, but God is clear that those who persist in rebellion will eventually be given over to a great delusion, knowing not what they do but reveling in the hatred toward their own Creator.

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, ¹⁰ and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. ¹¹ Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, ¹² in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. —2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

The international entertainment industry has its grip on the masses like no other industry in history. From Hollywood to worldwide professional sports, the industry is designed to turn people away from God as they indulge in sensory carnality that is pleasing to the flesh. Loud music, professional productions, an epic aroma overwhelm the senses of people producing a momentary pleasurable “high” that lasts until the next fix is needed.

That’s what makes the entertainment industry so powerful—it produces an addiction that thoroughly consumes people.

And Satan—and the Satanists around the world—have figured out how to harness the power of the entertainment industry to induce a form of worship to Baal and his minions. It’s just that it hasn’t been until recent decades that it has become so blatantly obvious to those paying attention that what is taking place isn’t just carnality, but the complete giving of themselves over to the devil.

Such is what has happened at the Commonwealth Games as the Games recently opened with massive applause and cheering to the grand entrance of a fiery bull eerily similar to that of what the prophets of Baal intended, but failed.

²⁶ And they took the bull that was given them, and they prepared it and called upon the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, “O Baal, answer us!” But there was no voice, and no one answered. And they limped around the altar that they had made. ²⁷ And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.” ²⁸ And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them. ²⁹ And as midday passed, they raved on until the time of the offering of the oblation, but there was no voice. No one answered; no one paid attention. —1 Kings 18:26-29

Only now, as the masses stood by and cheered for the entrance of this 32-foot high bull to the courts of the nation’s most popular sports exhibition, Prince Charles opened the games by intentionally inducing an appearance of fire to the bull.

There can be no doubt that we’re nearing the promised end-times as once-great nations continue to turn their backs on God, churches and denominations apostatize, and we continue to see more and more of the people of this world devolve into moral decay.
