Megachurch pastor of Hope City Church based in Houston, TX, made a ridiculous claim that it wasn’t God who delivered Daniel’s friends from the fiery furnace, but instead, King Nebuchadnezzar. While preaching, Foster says that God was in the fiery furnace with them, so it couldn’t have been God who delivered them. Therefore, he concludes that it was the King.

Of course, this is a departure from not only what the Scriptures actually say, but from historic orthodox Christian belief. To suggest that it wasn’t God who delivered them is contrary to what they actually claimed in Daniel 3:17–that it would be God who is able to deliver them from the hand of the King.

Incidentally, his wife is a “pastor” too at his church. It should be noted that some of the most heretical churches always have a female pastor or co-pastor.

Foster’s logic seems to be that since Nebuchadnezzar ordered them out of the furnace after several attempts at turning up the heat to no avail, that it was he who made the decision to deliver them rather than God. But clearly, God is the one who protected them from the heat and delivered them from the wrath of the King. Had God not supernaturally stopped the King’s fury, they surely would have perished in the furnace. It was God–and God alone–who demonstrated his power and authority over the physical world and the King knew he had been defeated by God. This is why the King relinquished and praised God–because he had no other choice.

Bethel’s Glitter Bomb Finally Went Off — And It Reeks

It’s a strange kind of grief—not the grief of surprise, but the grief of confirmation. The kind where you’ve been standing on the train tracks for years, waving both arms, shouting that the light in the distance isn’t the sunrise, it’s a locomotive—and then one day...

Transvestite State Rep Calls on Activists to Storm More Churches

Last Sunday at Cities Church in St. Paul, a pack of Antifa activists barged into the sanctuary, interrupted worship, and chanted anti-ICE slogans while congregants sat confused or walked out. Their target was a pastor they accused of being a field ICE director. That’s...
