Ed Litton Plagiarizes Yet Another Entire Sermon From JD Greear

In case you missed it, last week, Reformation Charlotte broke the story that the newly-elected Southern Baptist president, Ed Litton, had plagiarized JD Greear’s 2019 Romans 1 sermon downplaying the egregiousness of sexual sin and saying that the Bible only “whispers” about homosexuality. In Greear’s sermon, he took a quote from Jen Wilkin, who said that we ought to “whisper” about what the Bible “whispers” about and “shout” about what the Bible “shouts” about, and that the Bible appears to only “whisper” about homosexuality while it “shouts” about other sins, such as greed, boasting, and materialism.

Reformation Charlotte has uncovered yet another entire sermon that Ed Litton plagiarized from JD Greear–down to even the prayer at the beginning–in what amounts to nothing less than one of the greatest scandals the Southern Baptist Convention has ever faced in its entire history.

As the mantra at the SBC annual meeting went, “the world is watching.” Indeed it is–and they are mocking us right now.

Surrogacy is The Childless Gospel of the Left

I ran across a tweet the other day that lodged itself in my mind like a thorn. It was from Genevieve Gluck, a name that occasionally floats across the radar of gender-critical feminism, usually sounding some kind of alarm about the degradation of womanhood at the...

A Response to Twitter Thread on Capital Punishment for Abortions

It started, as these things often do, with a simple question. A seemingly nice lady on Twitter—yet a representative of the typical emotionally charged illogical reasoning of the mainstream pro-life movement—wanted to know how I think my church should handle a woman in...
