Because Her Husband is in Prison, Pastor’s Wife Able to Proclaim Jesus to Millions on Live TV

In a stunningly perfect and brilliant example of God’s perfect will in working all things for good (Romans 8:28), Erin Coates, wife of pastor James Coates, was able to proclaim the cross of Christ on live television to millions of viewers last night.

Pastor James Coates of Grace Life Church in Alberta, Canada was arrested and jailed by a homosexual activist police officer last month on charges of breaking health department orders that churches not meet for worship. The order goes against the very command of Scripture for Christians to gather and worship regularly and is clearly an overreach by the Canadian government to infringe upon that God-given right and duty.

Coates continued to hold worship services in defiance of the order and was subsequently arrested–he has been in prison since. Last night, his wife, Erin, was given the opportunity to go on Tucker Carlson on Fox News to discuss this case. Because of this, Erin was able to boldly and confidently proclaim the cross of Christ and their trust and faith in him–it was not only verbal proclamation, but her attitude clearly expresses their true faith.

Watch God be glorified by this.
