According to Black Lives Matter, a nefarious movement that claims on its surface to actually care about black lives but really is nothing more than a front group for a Marxist movement hell-bent on destroying Western Civilization, has accused the “Christian Right” of attacking their movement — and now, they are demanding an apology from Pat Robertson.

Pat Robertson, the charismatic leader and founder of the 700 Club, is not without his problems. Robertson, and his movement, from a theological standpoint, in many ways, fall outside of the bounds of Christian orthodoxy and have toed the line of heresy and promoted many false teachings. What Pat Robertson is not, though, is a political leftist. And Black Lives Matter is upset.

“Of course, Black lives matter,” Robertson said, but upset Black Lives Matter by stating that their movement is, “a stalking horse for a very, very radical, anti-family, anti-God agenda… We don’t want to go along with a lesbian, anti-family, anti-capitalist, Marxist revolution,” Robertson said. “We don’t want that for America.”

In a statement put out by Black Lives Matter (BLM) on their website, in response to comments Robertson made last week about the movement’s attempt to destroy Christianity, BLM writes,

In response to the outlandish comments made by televangelist Pat Robertson, we are here yet again being attacked for standing up against white supremacy. To insinuate that our movement is trying to destroy Christianity is disgraceful and outright offends our Christian siblings who are a part of our movement against racial injustice. The statements made by Pat Robertson are completely inflammatory and dangerous.

Of course, Robertson is correct. Black Lives Matter — the movement as well as the organization — is the antithesis of Christianity and rooted squarely in a worldview that is opposed to Christianity. In fact, everything Robertson asserted is clearly described as part of Black Lives Matter’s movement on the organization’s What We Believe page.

They clearly want to disrupt the idea of the nuclear family:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

They clearly want to promote an anti-Christian sexual ethic:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.

And have a clear intention to promote a Marxist revolutionary worldview based in systems counter to God’s revelation for mankind:

We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.

We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.

Not to mention they refer to each other as “comrades,” a term used to refer to Communist party members.

So absolutely nothing Robertson said about Black Lives Matter was false, nefarious, inflammatory or dangerous, as BLM asserts. BLM is clearly an anti-Christ system and should be treated as such. If any Christian is involved with this movement or organization in any way, they should be treated, as the Scriptures say, as an outsider and purged from the ranks fo the Church. No Christian can affirm anything that BLM stands for. Nothing.
