Kenneth Copeland is a false prophet who claims he has the power to rebuke the weather in the name of God. In 2017, Copeland and his wife, Gloria infamously rebuked Hurricane Harvey which did absolutely nothing. Harvey continued its course, inflicting around $125 billion in damage in Houston and surrounding areas in its path.

Copeland has been confronted on multiple occasions about how he defrauds people — particularly low-income people — for money to pay for his private jets, lavish homes, and expensive trips and vacations. But Copeland insists that even if you lose your job because of the coronavirus, you must make every effort to continue tithing.

What he doesn’t answer, though, is exactly what you’re supposed to tithe with.
