Last month, a former Liberty University student who is also a flaming homosexual — Brandon Ambrosino — who outed himself to a liberal teacher, Karen Swallow Prior, penned a scathing hit piece against Jerry Falwell Jr. and Liberty University claiming that the university created a “culture of fear” and “self-dealing.”

Breitbart reports that Falwell and Liberty University are planning to take legal action against those involved in what they are calling a “smear campaign” against the conservative Christian university.

“We have been patient with the smear campaign being waged against the school, but it is clear now that there is a concerted effort to damage the school’s reputation and mission,” Falwell, Jr., the president of Liberty University and the son of the late Rev. Jerry Falwell, told Breitbart News exclusively. “We have a fiduciary duty to defend the school from this attack.”

Breitbart reports that the smear campaign stems from Ambrosino’s September hit piece where he made “a number of dubious claims” against the school.

Karen Swallow Prior

Ambrosino is a flaming homosexual with an axe to grind against the university which doesn’t allow homosexual or other forms of sexual immorality to be publicly flaunted on campus. His confidant, a liberal English teacher named Karen Swallow Prior, has been intimately involved in Ambrosino’s life and his “coming out” of the closet. According to Ambrosino, Prior coaxed him into coming out and embracing his homosexual identity.

Previously, Ambrosino had nothing but good things to say about Liberty University, writing in another article titled Being Gay at Jerry Falwell’s University in 2013,

Meeting people like Dr. Prior and Dr. Reeves. All these people—including Jerry Falwell—helped teach me about Jesus, and I figured that if they liked me, then maybe Jesus might, too.

Since Karen Swallow Prior — who has been outspokenly anti-Trump — has been so closely aligned with the gay activist who attacked the university, it is unclear if she is subject to the planned legal action. Falwell is decidedly pro-Trump and this angers the progressive wing of Evangelicalism associated with liberal outlets such as The Gospel Coalition and the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.

Check Out the New “Jesus Mecha Christ” “Transformer” Toy

A transforming Christ-meets-mecha toy? Yes, the “Jesus Mecha Christ” transforming toy actually exists. It's like someone sat down and said, “How can I mock both God and basic decency in one fell swoop?” This isn’t art or satire—it’s an abomination born from the unholy...

Christmas Hymn Review: Away in a Manger

Previously, I wrote an article calling for discernment while scrutinizing the lyrics of the popular Christmas song, Mary Did You Know? I knew it would be a provocative piece, as it was meant to be. However, my intent was not to dissuade you from enjoying these tunes,...

Don’t Lose Sight of the Gospel in the Incarnation of Christ

Christmas is upon us again—the season of twinkling lights, cheerful songs, endless shopping, and, yes, Santa with his elves performing acrobatics on our bookshelves. The world, predictably, is consumed with the “season” itself, offering little more than cheap...
