RT reports that the University of Edinburgh allowed an anti-white conference to take place on school grounds despite mass outrage at the discriminatory nature of the conference. According to the report,

The conference, aimed at raising awareness about “the importance of anti-racist action in the UK”  took place at Pleasance Theater, owned by the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, on Saturday.

The conference was organized by a group aptly named ‘The Resisting Whiteness Collective,’ which describes itself as a “not-for-profit grassroots organization of QTPOC [Queer and Trans People of Color] activists and according to RT, the event organizers limited the access of white people.

The conference centered around a theme that is prevalent in American churches — “whiteness is wickedness” — and is being promoted through the guise of “racial reconciliation” through progressive Christian outlets such as The Gospel Coalition and the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. It’s important to pay attention to the secular world as it applies to activism since the happenings at secular universities are generally imported into Evangelical seminaries and churches.

The theme, “whiteness is wickedness,” coined by racist speaker, Ekemini Uwan, is rooted in a Marxist ideology known as Critical Race Theory. Critical Race Theory (CRT) emerged as an offshoot of Critical Theory, a neo-Marxist philosophy that has its roots in the Frankfurt School and its methods are drawn from Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud. CRT teaches that institutional racism exists within every structure of society and that these structures are intrinsically designed in such a manner as to protect and preserve “white supremacy” in our culture. Further, CRT does not rely on factual statistics or objective evidence to support the theory, rather it relies on anecdotal evidence and personal experience.

Several Evangelical organizations, including the Southern Baptist Convention, have already embraced CRT and are moving in the same direction as secular entities that have held to the destructive ideology for much longer. Some Christian organizations have already run similar events disallowing whites from attending. Last year, The Gospel Coalition held a “no white people allowed” women’s conference and LifeWay started a non-whites only ministry division.

Discrimination against whites is a growing concern worldwide, yet, in racist circles, discrimination against white people is a virtue, not a flaw.
