It is the duty of all Christians to go out into the world to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. It is by the grace of God that while we were once lost, God saved us. Voddie Baucham’s Evangelism Tips

Voddie unashamedly calls on Christians to be “intentional” and “purposeful” in day-to-day interactions with unbelievers. Some of the tips he shares include giving answers to questions that will actually open the door for more gospel-conversation and asking servers at restaurants if you can pray for them while praying for your food.

More Tips

Remember, when Christians evangelize, the truth of God’s word is first and foremost. We don’t rely on our own coaxing and sugar-coating to attract people to the gospel. While it’s great to use these techniques to open the doors to one-on-one conversation, it’s imperative that we rely solely on the power of the Holy Spirit to save people.

Further, our obedience to the Great Commission is not conditional upon how many souls we win to Christ. God has given to His Son an elect that He has chosen to save. While He entrusts Christians to take the good news of saving grace to the world, it is ultimately God’s doing to save souls, and God is glorified in our obedience irrespective of how many actually come to Him.
